Turfyy Privacy Policy

Turfyy ("we", "us") is a free app for organizing amateur turf sports matches in Bangladesh. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights over it. It applies to the Turfyy mobile app (package app.turfyy) and our backend at turfyy.tajirhasnain.com.

Data we collect

• Account & profile: when you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and Google account identifier. You may optionally add a phone number and a profile photo.
• Photos: if you set a profile picture, the image you choose is uploaded to our storage.
• Location: approximate or precise device location, used only when you open the turf map to show nearby turfs. Location is not tracked in the background.
• Messages & activity: match and team chat messages, matches you join, teams, stats, polls, and similar in-app activity needed to run the app.
• Payment coordination data: Turfyy never processes payments. When you record a payment you paste a transaction ID as proof; we store that text only. No card, bank, or wallet credentials are collected.
• Device & push token: a Firebase Cloud Messaging token so we can send match reminders and notifications.

How we use your data

To provide core features: signing you in, showing your matches and clubs, team and chat functionality, stats and reliability tracking, the turf map, and sending notifications. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

Your data is sent to our own backend servers. We use Google services (Google Sign-In, Firebase Cloud Messaging) as processors. Profile information you choose to make visible (name, photo, stats) is shown to other members of clubs and matches you participate in. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We retain your data while your account is active.

Your rights — account & data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing us at the address below. We will remove your personal data, retaining only what we are legally required to keep.

Children

Turfyy is intended for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
